The new 462 hot tub by Bullfrog Spas is a winner for those hot tubers with different body sizes. This model was designed with the tall person and at the same time, the shorter person in mind. Here are the seating configuration.
Using the filter area as the start point and going left, seat one is the deepest. Seat one can easily fit a person around the 6’ 6” height. I am 5’ 11” and can also enjoy this seat. At first I was a little concerned about the seat depth but when I slid into this seat the water came to my chin. I had to sit straight up and could not “lounge back” but it was nice to have my shoulders and back complete underneath the hot water. I would not spend my entire time in this seat but it was a nice soak to get those areas that I usually don’t hit. This seat also sits at 22 degrees, which gives those with longer legs area to stretch them out.
Next, seat two and three are at average depth, only changing a little between the two. Both of these fit me perfectly and give me ideal access to the powerful Whirlpool feet jets.
Seat four is for those of smaller stature. My friend/co-worker that stands at 5’4” loves this seat. She has never been able to enjoy the NeckBlaster JetPak before because the distance from her shoulders to the shoulder jets was to far causing access spray that would annoy her. But now this higher seat makes it perfect for her, no more floating. I can’t fit in this seat with the NeckBlaster, but any other JetPak and I’m good. That’s what great about JetPaks!
There are a few more things that differentiate this hot tub from our other models. The hamstring jets massage an area that I have yet to experienced in any of our other models which is new and exciting.
For all that it’s worth, I highly recommend this spa, insomuch that my parents are proud owners of the 462.
